Epinephrine (adrenaline) can be life-saving when administered as rapidly as possible once anaphylaxis is recognized. This clinical report from the American Academy of Pediatrics is an update of the 2007 clinical report on this topic. It provides information to help clinicians identify patients at risk of anaphylaxis and new information about epinephrine and epinephrine autoinjectors (EAs). Document
Equitable Approaches to Supporting Infants and Toddlers of Color Prioritizing strategies that eliminate barriers for children of color improves outcomes for all the youngest children in a state or region. North Carolina models this approach in their recent publication Opportunity for All? North Carolina’s Babies and Toddlers of Color. The document disaggregates data on key measures of success to shine a light on the current disparities in outcomes—and opportunity—among groups of young children and their families.
