Leadership Development
Early Childhood Leadership Development (ECLD)
Early Childhood Leadership Development (ECLD) coaching is designed for center-based child care directors across Minnesota who want to strengthen their leadership skills, improve program quality, and grow confidence in their practice.
ECLD coaching supports directors to:
- Build leadership capacity
- Improve overall program quality
- Create a strong community of professional support
- Lead with confidence and intention
CICC uses a cohort-based coaching model. A coach works alongside a group of directors, offering both group and individual support grounded in a leadership framework focused on essential components for success in early childhood settings.
The cohort model brings together directors who learn and grow alongside one another. Participants benefit from shared experiences, guided reflection, and ongoing support from both peers and a dedicated coach.
Through the cohort model, leaders are supported to:
- Develop ongoing relationships with trusted professionals
- Lead with intentionality
- Enhance management skills
- Support trauma-informed care practices
No. The Center for Inclusive Child Care (CICC) provides FREE coaching to licensed child care programs throughout Minnesota. Coaching includes individualized support, modeling, and access to helpful resources.
