Children who are exceptionally bright or gifted have talents, abilities and strengths in one or more domains of development that are more advanced than what is expected for their chronological age. Being exceptionally bright or gifted is more than being academically intelligent. Each child is unique and will differ individually as to the talents and strengths exhibited in their cognitive, speech/language, physical and social emotional development. This self-study course focuses on how to support the growth, development and learning of children who are exceptionally bright or gifted.
