Learning Disabilities and Young Children
This course will review the definition of learning disability both medically and educationally. After reviewing the specific definition of a learning disability, challenges of an accurate diagnosis will be discussed as it relates to early childhood. Participants will explore the possible impact for young children who struggle with learning as well as effective strategies that could be implemented to benefit the child.
