How to Be Prepared for Emergencies in Child Care Settings

The focus of this self-study course is on the last requirement listed for states. That is the requirement that relates to early care and education programs and emergency preparedness. This course will provide information about the three key components of emergency planning which are preparedness, response and recovery. Also included is content related to emergency planning for children with disabilities and/or special health care needs.
